Recommendation

We recommend our customers and suppliers/sub-contractors take the time to read over our privacy policy which will inform you of how and why we collect your personal data and our commitment to protecting all our customers data.

We take our approach to data protection seriously and in protecting you. Mighty Swimmers only collects the minimum amount of data required to provide the best service for you and your child.

Amendments to the Data Protection Act

On 25 May 2018 the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) gives individuals more control over how personal information is used and imposes tighter obligations on companies who use your personal data. GDPR is an essential requirement for companies who deal with personal data and relates only to a living individual who can be identified from that data. Given the change to the privacy laws we have made the required changes to our Terms and Conditions.

Personal Data

Under the data protection laws, we are only permitted to process your personal data where we have legal basis for doing so. We will only ever process your personal data in compliance with the applicable law.

We will keep your data as long as we supply you with a service and after a period of one year of you no longer requiring our services we will cease to hold any of your data unless you request we delete your data earlier.

Collected information

We will collect your general contact information and any other information you deem fit to share with us to provide you with the best service possible. We will store safely the information you submit.

We do NOT pass any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, address or enquiry) to any third parties, except when acting on your behalf to enable us to deliver our service. There are only two possible cases where we would pass on personally identifiable information;

  • If you request us to do so
  • If we are legally required to do so which include child protection

In both cases, we will only ever pass on the minimum amount of information that we consider necessary to fulfil these obligations.

We at Mighty Swimmers are required to carry relevant emergency details whilst conducting swimming lessons. This data will always be password protected and secure.

Our Opt-Out Policy

We will never e-mail you unless you have given us your consent. You may opt in and out of our mailing list by contacting Subscribe@mightyswimmers.co.uk

Consent

By submitting your personal information to us on our website, you consent to the use of that information as laid down in this privacy policy.

Suppliers & Sub-Contractors

We will collect your general contact information, evidence of required qualifications, payment details and any other information you deem fit to share with us to allow us to trade. We will store safely the information you submit.

We do NOT pass any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address or address) to any third parties, except when utilising support services such as commercial agreements, legal advice etc.

There are only three possible cases where we would pass on personally identifiable information;

  • If you request us to do so,
  • If we are legally required to do so which includes child protection,
  • To receive professional services

In all cases, we will only ever pass on the minimum amount of information that we consider necessary to fulfil these obligations.

Your Responsibility

It is the responsibility of the Customer/Supplier/Sub-Contractor or prospective Customer/Supplier/Sub-Contractor to warrant that all data provided to Mighty Swimmers is accurate and they are authorised to provide the data.
